The Election Commission of India (ECI) today gave its nod for various proposals of Deputy Commissioner Officer, Jalandhar.

Divulging further, the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that commission allowed award of purchase order for medicines/ consumables/ equipment etc. and continuance of procurement process for medicines/ consumables/ hospitals equipment etc.

He further said that Commission also approves the proposal for implementation the order of transfers of Ministerial Cadre at Deputy Commissioner Office, Jalandhar.Commission has gives its approval subject to the conditions that no political mileage and publicity should be done by anyone.
