Education Minister, Punjab Mr. Om Prakash Soni extending felicitations on the eve of Teachers’ Day, in his message said that teachers play a vital role in the development of the country and the society. Inspired teachers are the building blocks of a good education system. The new research and accomplishments by the youth are credited to the knowledge imparted by their teachers.

I convey my good wishes to the entire teaching community and appeal to the teaching fraternity to reorient themselves and evolve new methodologies for laying a strong foundation in students to make Punjab a frontrunner State.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated on the 5th of September, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratan, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was one of the great scholars and philosophers of our country and was the second President of India.
