The Election Commission on thursday briefed the media about various initiatives taken by the poll panel for free and fair polls for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The election commission said that, for the first time, VVPATs are being deployed in the Lok Sabha Polls across the country.

The poll panel has made special arrangements to provide better accessibility to the differently-abled voters at polling booths across the country.

Besides, the election commission is also making special arrangements to help the first time voters know the electoral processes.
