Government of Punjab should implement marketing system without any hindrance – Rupinder Kaur Ruby

AAP MLA Rupinder Kaur Ruby in her address to the House said that the Punjab government should ensure that the marketing system of the state is maintained. He said that MSP should not be limited to wheat and paddy but Punjab government should ensure its own on all crops. He said that as long as the loopholes in procurement arrangements and norms were not closed, the exploitation by private buyers could not be stopped. He said that the government should renovate the canals, exempt diesel from state tax and provide free electricity to small scale industries.
CHANDIGARH: Earlier, AAP MLA Principal Budh Ram said that the central black law owners have enough money to hold protests but the Akali Dal, BJP and Congress of Punjab are responsible for it. Jinnah laid the foundation of these black laws by amending the Mandi Act in 2005, then the Contract Farming Act in 2013 and again in 2017 by amending the APMP.
Chandigarh – AAP MLA Prof. Speaking in the House, Baljinder Kaur said that the significance of today’s session demands that something new be brought. That is why all eyes are on the proceedings of the House today. He said that Punjab government should ensure legal procurement of crops on MSP on all crops. Therefore, Markfed, PUNSUP, Warehouse, Pungren etc. should give import-export rights to their procurement agencies. He said that today cotton crop was being looted in Malwa mandis and maize crop was being looted in Doaba mandis. The government must first stop this looting.
