Governor NN Vohra today reviewed in detail the security situation prevailing in the Kashmir valley with top police, security and intelligence officers in the wake of recent developments and reports received by him.

The Governor, according to an official spokesman, spent almost the whole day in meeting senior echelons in the security apparatus and received an extensive briefing from Lt Gen AK Bhatt, GoC, 15 Corps, about the situation along the Line of Control and activities of various terror groups in the hinterland.

The spokesman said the Governor received similar briefings from SP Pani, IGP, Kashmir division, and Ravideep Singh Sahi, IG, CRPF. He also held discussions with the chiefs of Central intelligence agencies.
