Gujjar quota agitation leader Kirori Singh Bainsla and his son Vijay Bainsla on Wednesday joined the BJP in the presence of the party’s Rajasthan-in-charge Prakash Javadekar. “I have seen rarest of rare qualities in PM Modi and that’s why I am joining the BJP,” Kirori Singh Bainsla said adding he was inspired by the PM’s style of working.
Bainsla also said he has been close to chief ministers of both parties-the BJP and the Congress-and had seen their ideologies. “After seeing two parties closely, I am joining the BJP,” he said. This is the second time he is joining the BJP. In 2009 he contested on a BJP ticket from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur constituency but lost to Congress candidate.
