Have separate counters for special categories, DC tells hospital

Deputy Commissioner Sunita Verma today directed the management of the Civil Hospital to ensure separate registration counters for differently abled and senior citizens so that they are not inconvenienced.
The DC interacted with patients in different wards to know more about the quality of treatment being provided to them. She asked the CMO to ensure cleanliness in the hospital.
Verma also visited the laboratory and suggested that separate rooms be set up for men and women for collecting blood samples and conducting ECG tests.
Talking to mediapersons, the DC said that despite shortage of staff the hospital management was doing its best to provide proper services. She said a separate ward had been set up for patients suffering from dengue. Dr Ashok Kumar, CMO, DR Kulbhashan and Dr RP Goel were also present.
