The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, gave a warm send-off to Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, who have been designated as Chief Justices of High Courts of Manipur and Meghalaya, respectively.

Bar president BS Slathia said Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir were hallmark of simplicity and brilliance who had greatly influenced the young lawyers.

“They treated all lawyers equally and are admired by the members of the association. Justice Sudhakar and Justice Mir have done their utmost efforts to develop the infrastructure of the High Court, besides trial courts in the state,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, both the Judges lauded the role of the legal fraternity of J&K and the Bar association members in extending their sincere cooperation and assistance in conducting the court proceedings.
