Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited villages in the Panipat Rural constituency on Monday during the second round of ‘Jan Kranti Rath Yatra’.

Hundreds gathered in public meetings and joined the cavalcade along with the specially designed rath during the yatra.

Hooda focused on problems in Panipat during his yatra. He addressed public meeting in Burshaym, Sewah, Risalu, Ugrakheri, Rajakheri, Babbail, Barana and Kabri villages.

Attacking the BJP government, Hooda alleged that the state government was snatching jobs from employees instead of giving jobs to the youth of the state.

The BJP had promised to double the rates of produce to farmers, but failed to give actual cost of produce to them, he added.

Hooda further stated that his government had allotted plots to 4 lakh poor people in the state, but the present government had not given an inch of land to the people.
