India condemns terror attacks in Kabul, asks international community to fight terrorism unitedly

In Afghanistan, at least 27 people, including women and children have been killed and 29 injured in a shooting incident in the capital Kabul on Saturday.

The incident occurred at a remembrance ceremony for a minority Shiite leader Abdul Ali Mazari who was killed in 1995 by the Taliban. President Ashraf Ghani condemned the massacre, calling it a crime against humanity.

Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said that Afghan security forces were still trying to flush the gunmen out of an under-construction apartment building. The Taliban immediately denied any involvement in the attack.
