Mohali : Its time to bid adieu to the current year and gear up to usher in the new year at AKSIPS-125. AKSIPS-125, Mohali was abuzz with the Christmas celebration.

The school celebrated Christmas Day at its campus with lots of pomp and pleasure. The Santa cap on the head and songs of Christmas lingered on each lip. A warm welcome speech was given by the Principal of the School, Mrs. Jagjit Sekhon. She greeted all the guests and tiny tots of the school. She reflected upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and said “Christmas conveys Christ’s message of love, tolerance and brotherhood. This is a festival of humanity and mankind”.

The celebration started with surprise gifts from Santa. There were various activities organized by faculty members for tiny tots of the school. They joyfully sung songs like “Jingle Bells” and danced on different songs with Santa Claus mask on them. The Campus echoed with the corals of students. Bliss was in the air. Christmas carols and ringing of Santa Claus’s bells wafted through the environs.

Principal of the School Mrs. Jagjit Sekhon urged to emulate Jesus Christ’s spirit of forgiveness, mercy and generosity. The celebration ended with thanks giving. Mrs. Sekhon appreciated the endeavor of the faculty members and said “celebrating the festival together justifies our country’s Image – unity in diversity. Sharing together these merry moments builds strong bonding”.
