Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao are shooting for their next film, Mental Hai Kya. Needless to say, the interest in the film is fairly high for a number of reasons — the duo make an unusual pair (though they did work together in Queen), the title of the film is quite unique and implies it could be a quirky comedy and finally some posters that were released in March this year proved that for these two artistes ‘playing safe’ wasn’t never an option. Small wonder then pictures from their shoot on Wednesday in Mumbai should be of interest.

Kangana can be seen in a loose-fitting cream-coloured dress. Carrying a huge handbag, and a stylish pair of sun glasses, she had her hair left loose. Rajkummar, meanwhile, is in a pair of torn grey jeans and a white T-shirt. He too sported a pair of sun glasses.

Mental Hai Kya will be directed by National Award-winner Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Shaailesh R Singh’s Karma Media. The film has been written by Kanika Dhillon. Its director, Kovelamudi, a popular Telugu actor-filmmaker, bagged a National Award in 2006 for Bomelatta.

Our Veere Di Wedding girls — Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam K Ahuja and Swara Bhaskar were at office of a radio channel promoting their film. Kareena, who has scored at every Veere promotion event didn’t disappoint as she wore a denim-meets-formals trouser and blazer combination in blue. Later, Swara, Sonam and Shikha Talsania were seen at the office of another radio channel.
