Khattar must resign on moral grounds: Dushyant
Kaithal,
The BJP government has failed to maintain law and order in the state and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar should own the moral responsibility for the prevailing situation and resign immediately.
Dushyant Chautala, Lok Sabha MP from Hisar, said while talking to mediapersons at the residence of INLD leader Roshan Dhanda here today.
Dushyant said a sense of insecurity prevails in the state and everybody was living in fear. The government claimed it was alert but the situation worsened even though heavy security forces were deployed.
The Chief Minister should have learnt from his past mistakes and taken precautionary measures to ensure that there was no loss of life and property. This was not the first time that the BJP government failed to fulfil its constitutional responsibility, he added.
He said there was complete lack of coordination between the government and the administrative machinery, resulting in chaos and mayhem in Panchkula, Sirsa and other places.
Dushyant urged the Punjab and Haryana High Court to constitute a committee or order a CBI inquiry to ascertain the reasons of the government failure.
He called upon party workers to reach Bhiwani on September 25 to celebrate the anniversary of Jan Nayak Devi Lal.
