Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin were nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Decade Award. Joe Root (England), Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, AB de Villiers, and Kumar Sangakkara are the other contenders in the category.

Kohli features in all five men’s categories. In the Men’s ODI Player of the Decade category, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma are also nominated.
