In dramatic turn of event in West Bengal, Kolkata Police on Sunday detained the CBI team outside the residence of Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar. A special team of CBI led by Tathagata Bardhan DSP tried to enter into the official residence of Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar.

But they were thwarted by Kolkata Police, following which a Commotion started. Meanwhile, Kolkata Police detained the CBI officials and took them to Shakespeare Police Station. One team of Kolkata Police gheroed the CGO Complex where the CBI office is situated.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached the Police Commissioner’s residence. The team of CBI officials had arrived at the residence of Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar to question him in connection with Saradha ponzi scam cases.
