CHANDIGARH, 11 JAN 2018:
Lt Gen YVK Mohan, SM, VSM took over as the 13th Corps Commander of the prestigious, Rising Star Corps on 11 Jan 18.




A highly decorated soldier from ‘The 7th Battalion the 11th Gorkha Rifles’,he has an illustrious career including several command, staff and instructional appointments including those of commanding an Infantry Brigade in High Altitude Area and a Mountain Division along the Chinese front.


The General Officer has excelled in various professional courses during his service and has many achievements to his credit. He is a Graduate of the Defence Service Staff College, Wellington and has studied at the Royal College of Defence Studies, London, UK.
