Maharashtra issue rocks both Houses of Parliament; Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha face repeated disruptions following continued sloganeering by Opposition leaders; Both houses adjourned for the day.

Maharashtra Political situation rocked proceedings in Parliament as well following this there were adjournments. Both the Houses were adjourned after uproar by opposition. Lok Sabha was first adjourned till 12 PM and later till 2 PM. Rajya Sabha was also adjourned till 2 PM When both houses resume the proceeding at 2 pm, the oppositions again started raising slogans forcing into adjournment of houses for the day.

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad reacted on the ruckus in parliament and said that the BJP-Shiv Sena got mandate to form govt with Devendra Fadnavis as CM. It’s the Congress that is murdering democracy & questioning bjp on the same. BJP’s win in state is both moral & political victory, which Congress is trying to hijack.
