SUB COMMITTEE TO SUBMIT REPORT BY 30TH APRIL: NAVJOT SINGH SIDHU

The meeting of the cabinet sub-committee formed to protect lands of the Urban Local Bodies as well as the Panchayati Raj units and strengthen the financial

position of the state by further selling/transfer of these thereby generating funds, has been scheduled for the 16th April at Punjab Bhawan which would be

presided over by the Local Government Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu. The meeting would also be attended by the committee members Finance

Minister Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal and the Rural Development & Panchayat Minister Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.

Disclosing this here today, the Local Government Minister Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu said that in accordance with the directions of the Chief Minister, Captain

Amarinder Singh the decision to form the sub-committee was taken in a meeting of the Punjab cabinet. He further divulged that this committee would submit its

recommendations to the cabinet by 30th April.
