Mohali: Members of Mohali industries association gives warm see off to first International flight to Bangkok, which is starting today from Chandigarh Airport. MIA members lead by Past President welcomed all the passengers who are traveling on this inaugural flight with Rose flowers and wished them safe & comfortable flight .

Sanjeev Vashisht says that with start of this flight the region will get more & new buisness opportunities as it will given people of the region a direct connection to West coast of North America, Australia, Newzealand, Japan & many other countries and will save them a travel time of 14 hours as they will not have to travel via Delhi in future and can take a direct connection from here to their destination.

Here it is imp to mention that, it is because of the efforts of Mohali Industries Association that International flights were started from Airport after a PIL in Punjab High Court was filed by MIA for the same.
