ADVISED COMPLETE REST FOR TEN DAYS

Former Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India and current Member of Parliament from Patiala, Mrs Preneet Kaur yesterday suffered an injury resulting from a fall. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated for the injuries and subsequently discharged today.

The incident occurred in Delhi after her return from the Meeting of the Parliamentary Committee of the Indian National Congress.

Disclosing this today an official spokesman of the Government said that Doctors attending to her have advised complete rest for the next 10 days. As a result she will not be taking visitors or telephonic calls during this period.
