SAS Nagar: As per instructions of National Legal Services Authority and Hon’ble Executive Chairman Punjab State Legal Services Authority Hon’ble Justice TPS Mann, today on 9.12.2017, National Lok Adalak has been organized in all the courts of all over India, in which the matters of following categories are as follows:-

Matrimonial Disputes
Labour dispute cases
Land Acquisition cases
Electricity and Water Bills (Excluding non-compoundable theft cases)

Other Civil Cases (Rent, easmentary Rights, injunction Suits, specific)
In this regard, the District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Mrs. Archana Puri has held meeting of Judges as well as Bankers, Insurance Company, Labour department, Police officials, Water and Electricty department, President Bar Association of Mohali, Kharar, Derabassi, DPRO, And Sensitized them about National Lok Adalat, A positive result has been shown by Bankers by putting Maximum Prelitigative cases before Lok Adalat. Virk, Permanent Lok Adalat, Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur, Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Ms. Ekta Uppal, SDJM, Kharar, Ms. Daljit Kaur, CJJD, Ms. Ashima Sharma, Kharar, Ms. Sonali, CJJD, Derabassi, Mr. Raj Karan, CJJD, Derabassi.
CJM-Cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority Smt. Monika Lamba Said In the National Lok Adalat 1545 No. of cases were disposed of and 33,50,14,456/- amount of awards were passed. While taking up the matter in National Lok Adalat, Parties are asked to effect compromise and cases were solved on the basis of compromise. At the same time the parties are explained about the benefits of getting their matter resolved through lok Adalat i.e. the court fees fixed in their case is returned, there is no Appeal against the award passed in this lok adalat, due to compromise, the relations of parties do not get exploited and parties go home happily.
