A Bench of Justices Adarsh K Goel and S Abdul Nazeer on Friday maintained a decision of the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) a half year back. The NCDRC had requested spending transporter *Spicejet* to pay Rs 1.25 lakh pay to a traveler for cancelation of flight. A Chandigarh-based lady, *Rajni Aery*, booked a ticket (Chandigarh to Delhi via Bagdodra and Kolkata) on yatra.com on June 23, 2015 and paid Rs 70,900. The carrier wiped out her arrival flight from Kolkata to Delhi with no reason and gave her no option. She moved  to consumer court in Chandigarh and filed a case against Spicejet.
