Parliament resumed on Monday after weekend recess.

The Lok Sabha met after three days while the Rajya Sabha after two days.

There was no sitting in the Lower House on Friday due to the death of a sitting member. Lok Sabha was adjourned for the whole day while Rajya Sabha saw a

few adjournments. BJP MP made his debut speech in the Rajya Sabha as the House discussed the motion of thanks on President Ram Nath Kovind’s joint

sitting of Parliament.

It was the last week of the first part of Budget Session after which both the Houses will go on nearly month long recess and resume from 5 March.
