The Centre has relaxed the existing timeline for submission of Life Certificate for Central Government pensioner till February 28, 2021.

All Central Government pensioners can now submit Life Certificate from Ist November 2020 onward till February 28, 2021. However, during this extended period, the pension will be continued to be paid by the Pension Disbursing Authorities uninterrupted.The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the vulnerability of the elderly population to Corona Virus.
