Phoolka told me about quitting politics Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that senior advocate HS Phoolka, who had resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was not willing to remain active in politics anymore.

Interacting with mediapersons on the sidelines of an event in Charkhi Dadri, the Delhi Chief Minister said Phoolka had met him in Delhi recently and expressed the desire to quit politics.

“Phoolka revealed to me the reasons behind his decision to stay away from politics,” Kejriwal said, refusing to talk further on the matter.The AAP chief handed over a cheque for Rs 1 crore to the family of Delhi Police personnel Ravinder Chahar of Rudhdol village in Charkhi Dadri district.

He had died during duty in Delhi in September last year. Kejriwal said he had come to honour a martyr on a non-political stage and not to indulge in politics.
