Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday celebrated Diwali with soldiers guarding LoC in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir.While interacting with the soldiers, PM thanked the soldiers for their monumental service on behalf of the people of India.

He also said that it is the vigilance and valour of the soldiers that keeps our nation safe. He also praised the service of armed forces during natural disasters.He said that swift action of soldiers saves many lives and prevents public property from being destroyed.

PM also said that the welfare of the soldiers is of prime importance and government is taking major steps in this regard.Prime Minister shared the joy of Diwali by distributing sweets. He also planted a sapling to mark his visit .
