Prime Minister Narendra Modi tore into the Congress Party at three rallies he held across the states of MP, HP and Punjab. The Prime Minister accused previous Congress governments of using defence deals as an automated teller machine.

With the sixth-phase done and dusted, the heat and dust of the world’s largest election held in among the hottest summers on record shifts to its final 7th phase.

The Prime Minister’s first rally was in Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh where he tore into the Congress party for the callous comments of its leader, Sam Pitroda regarding the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The ‘jo hu so hua’ comment irked the PM so much that he said the words reflect not just the Congress party’s twisted ideology but the callous attitude of its leaders that has resulted in years of scandals and exploitation of the people.The PM belittled the Congress for its ‘false promises’ on crop loan waivers to farmers in Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister charged the Congress with fabricating the theory of Hindu terror, saying the nefarious idea brought disrepute to the India’s great traditions.He charged the Congress with being soft on terrorists, and being in a weak position to defend its poor track record on national security.

The Prime Minister’s next rally was in Solan Himachal Pradesh where he listed out his govt’s achievements including the 10 percent reservation for economically weaker sections.

The PM didn’t spare the Congress on the issue of corruption saying Congress leaders were themselves out on bail and sermonising to the country’s leadership every day.

Later the PM reached Bathinda, Punjab, where he campaigned for the Akali Dal BJP alliance The PM raised questions on state Govt under Congresss leader Capt Amarinder Singh.
