Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with foreign delegates from 181 countries, at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi.

These representatives had participated in Kumbh Mela 2019 in Prayag Raj on Friday. Prime Minister said that there is huge potential for tourism in the country.

Highlighting the rich cultural heritage of India, Prime Minister said that one can understand the beauty of Kumbh only, if he/she visits Kumbh in Prayagraj to have first hand experience.

Prime Minster urged the representatives to tell the world what they have seen in India after visiting Kumbh. Prime Minister said that case studies can be done for successful conduct of Kumb Mela.

Prime MInister also said Election Commission of India can invite people from other countries to visit India to see themselves the successful conduct of free and free elections in world’s largest democracy.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj also addressed the Pravasi Bharatiya representatives from 181 countries. She said that Kumbh Mela represents India’s rich cultural heritage.
