Former Director of scam-hit Punjab & Maharashtra Cooperative Bank Surjit Singh Arora has been sent to police custody till 22nd October, while Former Managing Director Joy Thomas sent to judicial custody for 14 days by Mumbai’s Esplanade court.

Surjit was arrested on Wednesday by the Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai Police. Till now five persons have been arrested after alleged Rs 4,355 crore scam came to light.
