President Ram Nath Kovind has embarked on a nine-day official visit to Iceland, Switzerland and Slovenia to enhance India’s political and economic ties with the three European countries. President Kovind will first visit Iceland and will hold talks with Iceland President and Iceland Prime minister.

The President’s next stop will Switzerland from September 11-15 where he will meet President Ueli Maurer and members of the Swiss cabinet.On the final leg of his visit, the President will arrive in Slovenia on September 15.

During his visit there, the president will hold extensive discussions with Slovenian President and Slovenian Prime Minister. The President will also participate in a business forum event and an Indian community reception.
