Bengal Warriors defeated Tamil Thalaivas by 35-26 in the sole match at Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi in the seventh edition of the Pro Kabaddi League on Thursday.

On the penultimate day of the Delhi leg, both the teams started out with a tense match which ended as 15-14 in the first half with Ajay Thakur dominating the mat. But, because of a spirited performance by the entire Bengal team and a K. Prapanjan Super 10, the Warriors bested the Thalaivas and rose to second in the standings of the table.
