PUNJAB GOVT DECLARES GAZETTED HOLIDAY ON KABIR JAYANTI

The Punjab Government has declared gazetted holiday on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti on June 28, 2018. An official Spokesperson said that Punjab Government has issued a notification in this regard and all the offices of Punjab government, Boards/Corporations and other Government/Educational institutes would remain closed on Kabir Jayanti. The holiday was earlier included in the state’s list of restricted holidays. Notably, during a thanksgiving rally at Shahkot yesterday the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced state holiday on Kabir Jayanti.
