Punjab Govt observes Anti-Terrorism Day

Sectt staff vow to fight terrorism

Chandigarh

Remembering the former Prime Minister of India Mr Rajiv Gandhi on his 28th Death Anniversary, Punjab Government today observed the Anti-Terrorism Day. A large gathering of Punjab Secretariat staff members pledged to fight against all forms of terrorism at the Anti-Terrorism pledge function here .

The pledge was administered by Principal Secretary Planning, General Administration and Coordination Mr. Jaspal Singh in the Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 premises.

Joining Mr. Jaspal Singh, the employees pledged, “We, the people of India having abiding faith in our country’s traditions of non-violence and tolerance, here by solemnly affirm to oppose with our strength, all forms of terrorism and violence. We pledge to uphold and promote peace, social harmony and understanding among all fellow human beings and fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values.”
