September 6: In another demonstration of detest wrongdoing, a gurdwara in the US province of California has been vandalized. The dividers have been secured with detest messages, including one calling for “nuking” Sikhs.

This occurred at the Vermont Gurdwara in Los Angeles, otherwise called the Hollywood Sikh Temple. The individual vandalizing with spray painting was stood up to a witness and got him on mobile phone film leaving the gurdwara’s divider with no clarification, NBC Los Angeles detailed.

“I said I was going to call the police on him at which point he said he felt threatened,” Karna Ray, the witness who filmed the vandalism, said. “He said, ‘I will slit your throat'”.

Nirinjan Singh Khalsa of California’s Sikh Council is in close contact with the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the case. “This specific occurrence doesn’t involve swastikas and ‘go home, ragheads,’ which we get some of the time,” Khalsa said.

“This is by all accounts a denunciation by somebody who could conceivably is rationally imbalanced,” he said.
