Mohali: The first ever airport radio station officially launched today at the Chandigarh International Airport in partnership with Radio Indigo, India’s first longest running International radio station. The airport now features an exclusive in-house studio along with RJ Ishpreet to interest and engage the travelers.
With the onset of festive season, the CHIAL (Chandigarh International Airport Limited) radio is an attempt to enhance the traveling experience of commuters. As a part of remarkable launch, Flashmob comprising fourteen dancers performed at the airport premises after regular intervals. Along with them, travelers and the Airport staff too shaked their legs to celebrate the launch of the radio station.
As a customer centric service, its exclusive RJ Ishpreet at CHIAL radio induces passenger’s interaction, thereby, breaking the monotony of travelers waiting for their flights. The radio station aims at playing aspirational music to lift the spirits of passengers. The music is especially curated keeping in mind the tastes of the clientele.
Apart from it, all the flight related and utility information announced at regular intervals. Throughout the day, music played to captivate the audience making flying a better experience. The radio waves extend to the waiting lounges and car parking areas.
