Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday night formed nine committees in preparation for the forthcoming Rajasthan elections.

Former state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been named chairperson of the state coordination committee.
Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot will head the state election committee which will shortlist candidates for the Congress Party’s central election panel’s review.

Senior party leader Raghu Sharma has been appointed president of the campaign panel and former Union minister CP Joshi as the chief of the publicity panel.
Congress secretary in-charge of Punjab Harish Choudhry, a former MP, will chair the manifesto panel.
