Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh on Wednesday extended his heartiest greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.

Paying tribute to the great Saint Soldier, the Speaker said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh devoted his life to serving the people and even sacrificed his whole family to upholding truth and justice.

The Speaker said that with the foundation of the Khalsa Panth in 1699 at Sri Anandpur Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji gave a birth to a warrior community. The Guru Sahib’s unparalleled contribution to the humanity would always be remembered and teachings of the Sarbansdani would always inspire to fight against injustice.
