Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is undoubtedly the most awaited Bollywood film of the year. While the fans have to wait a little longer before the film hit the theaters, director Ali Abbas Zafar is all set to treat the fans with the trailer of the film this April. The film has been ruling the headlines for the longest time as the makers as well as actors keep giving a sneak peak into the film every now and then. The film is shot in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Malta, Punjab and New Delhi and pictures and videos from the shoot have already made their presence felt on the social media.

There is no denying that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are a blockbuster Bollywood Jodi as their films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Ek Tha Tiger have all earned good numbers at the box office. In January, when the makers shared the teaser of Bharat in which Salman Khan was seen in five different avatars, fans excitement tripled. On Sunday, director Ali Abbas Zafar took to his twitter to share the news about Bharat’s trailer and wrote, “Yes the trailer of @Bharat TheFilm is locked , we are into final stages of post production , it will come out in 3rd week of April . This one is a very special film , Nervous , anxious & excited . May god bless us all .”

Bharat is set in the backdrop of India in 1947 and will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Not just that, the film will showcase significant events over a period of 70 years since partition. It is scheduled for an Eid 2019 release.
