Former Punjab chief minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) patron Sardar Parkash Singh Badal today cancelled all his programmes in view of the State mourning following the demise of India’s first Air Marshall Arjan Singh.

The former chief minister was scheduled to meet party workers in a series of meetings at the party head office today.

Sardar Badal while condoling the demise of the Air Marshall, said Arjan Singh would always be known for his exemplary bravery and valour. “I join Punjabis worldwide in paying homage to the great hero of the 1965 war. I also extend my sympathies to the family members of Air Marshall Arjan Singh”.
