SC gives Mediation Panel time till Aug 15 to come up with amicable, lasting solution
The Supreme Court has accepted the three-member mediation panel’s request and given it time till August 15 to come up with an amicable and lasting solution to the Ayodhya land dispute case.
A five-judge
constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said they had
received the report from Justice Kalifulla in which the panel had sought
extension of time till August 15 to complete the mediation proceedings.
The
Supreme Court, however, said it is satisfied with the way committee is
proceeding. The mediation committee comprising former SC judge FMI
Kalifulla, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar and senior advocate Sriram
Panchu, a renowned mediato Upload Imager, was constituted by the apex court on March 8.
