Delhi Public School (DPS), Leh, today celebrated the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh at a function on the school premises. The celebrations began with the lighting of a lamp in front of the portrait of Hari Singh by the principal and staff members. It was followed by a skit, songs and speeches throwing light on the life of Hari Singh.

In his address, school principal Subhash Kumar Baldotra said Hari Singh was a great administrator, educationist, secularist, kind and compassionate ruler of the state. He added that under his regime, people of all castes and religion flourished.
