Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison celebrates ‘miracle’ win; PM thanks voters for re-electing him.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison who emerged victorious in the nation’s election on May 18, defying polls that predicted a loss to the Liberal-led conservatives, thanked the people for re-electing him.

According to the Australian Electoral Commission, out the roughly 17 million votes that have been counted till now, Morrison’s Liberal-led conservative coalition won 76 seats, the number needed to form a majority government.
