Shruti Choudhry, former MP and vice-president of the Haryana Congress, has criticised Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his “anti-women” remarks. She has said the Chief Minister has insulted women by issuing such an ‘unjustified’ statement.

“How can women feel safe in a state where the Chief Minister possesses a negative approach towards them? Khattar blaming women for rising incidents of crime against them across the state shows that his government has utterly failed to ensure the safety of women,” said Shruti in a press note issued here on Monday.
