A team of Punjab Vigilance Bureau today nabbed the reader of SP Sewa Singh Malhi for bribery. The vigilance caught the accused,

Gurinder jit Singh for accepting Rs. 50,000 red-handed in Faridkot on Friday.
The accused have been posted at SSP office as reader with Sewa Singh Malhi.
Deputy Inspector General, Ashish Kapoor said that that we have arrested the accused for accepting the bribe .The trap laid by DSP Tejinder Singh.
Pardeep Kumar, resident of Kotkapura lodged the complaint with Vigilance that the accused demanded the money to give clean chit to the complainant and his family in the cheating case.
Later, the deal was done in 1. 25 lakh rupees while accused have accepted the Rs. 50,000 as first installment.
The case have been registered under prevention of corruption act .
