In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling Telugu Desam Party has released its first list of 126 candidates for the April 11 assembly election. Name of Chief Minister and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh figured in the list.While Chandrababu Naidu will contest from Kuppam constituency, his son Lokesh will contest first electoral battle from Mangalagiri constituency.

The first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha election, scheduled simultaneously, will be announced on Friday. Meanwhile, former Union minister Panabaka Lakshmi and her husband Krishnaiah joined the TDP after midnight.The couple so far served the Congress party.
