TET-2017 Exam postponed to February 11
CHANDIGARH : December 27, 2017: Following complaints that the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) was conducting the exam on a short notice on December 31, the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET-2017) has been postponed to February 11.
Long queues were seen outside Punjab National Bank branches today as candidates had to deposit their exam fee. December 27 was the last date to deposit the fee and PNB was the only authorised bank to take the test fee.
Now, the SCERT has started the fresh process for submission of online application and other activities related to the examination. A week ago, the SCERT had invited candidates for PSTET-I and PSTET-II to apply online for the test and December 26 was the last date to apply. This test is the essential qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in primary and elementary government schools.
