Trainer plane crashes, pilot safe
HYDERABAD
A trainer plane on Wednesday crashed in Shankarpalli mandal of Ranga Reddy district, 46 km from Hyderabad, resulting in minor injuries to the pilot who managed to eject minutes before the mishap.
It was a private aircraft and belonged to Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy, Begumpet. The trainee pilot, Bharat Bhushan, who was on a routine sortie as part of his training schedule, has been hospitalised.
Venkat Reddy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chevella, said: “The aircraft crashed near Mokila village in Shankarpally mandal. The trainee pilot is safe and is being treated for eye injury.
