The CIA cell of the police has arrested two persons for allegedly looting a truck carrying 900 bags of cement on March 16 and kidnapping the truck driver and the helper.

The accused have been identified as Meeku (21) and his brother Mohit (19), both residents of Jind. They were produced in a court on Sunday, which sent them to five-day police remand.

According to information, truck driver Teekam Chand of Rajasthan had lodged a complaint at the Rajound police station that five-six car-borne assailants looted their truck carrying 900 bags of cement near Kasan village in Kaithal on March 16. He alleged that the accused thrashed him and his helper and snatched their cellphones and cash. He alleged that the accused also kidnapped them, but they were released the next day. The empty truck has been recovered. Four of their accomplices have been identified and will be arrested soon.
