Two day UP investors summit concludes
The two day investors summit in Uttar Pradesh concluded on Thursday. Presiding over the concluding session, President Ram Nath Kovind said an investor-friendly environment has been created in the state
After the successful first day of the summit, the second day also registered attendance of illustrious persons from the industry and politics. The deliberations focused on how to put Uttar Pradesh on the growth trajectory.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that UP govt has improved the law and order situation in that has in turn facilitated ease of doing business. This is going to benefit not just the state but the entire nation.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the vision of defence corridor in Uttar Pradesh will be realised soon.
Meanwhile, Union Rail minister Piyush Goyal announced many ambitious plans of ministry for UP including a rail factory in Jhansi
Speaking on the first of its kind summit in the state, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said more than a thousand MoUs have been signed during the summit that will open up newer avenues of employment.
UP Governor Ram Naik addressed on the last day of the summit that saw participation of experts from diverse field and sectors in various sessions.
