Two IT Experts died in Panchkula Cylinder Blast, death toll stood at five, two more fighting for life

Chandigarh : Cylinder Blast in Sector 10 of Panchkula claimed five lives out of which two were IT experts. The two died on Monday. One of them Jignesh was from Gujrat while the other had come to stay with the family. Jignesh was going to Gujrat where he originally belonged to, to celebrate Diwali but at the last instance, he cancelled his programme. He was living on rent in house no. 704, Sector 10 and had come to see with his landlord Hemraj Sharma as to what was happening in the house number702 out of which smoke and foul smell was coming. When the owner of the house Ajit Chowdhary opened the door which followed the cylinder blast, Jignesh was seriously injured. He was admitted to civil hospital Sector 6 Panchkula from where he was referred to GMCH Sector 32 Chandigarh. In the meantime his family arrived and he was taken to Max hospital in Mohali where he took his last breath.
The second IT expert Anmol Garg had come to celebrate Diwali with his family. He secured his degree from PEC and was given a package of Rs. 27 lakh from Amazon. With his death total of five persons have lost their lives in the blast.
